Growth Manager (Subscriptions Team), Disney+Hotstar

This role will be responsible for subscriber programs, experimenting aggressively, and prioritizing initiatives to increase subscriber engagement, retention, and monetization on the platform. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.
The team is responsible for developing the overall subscriber retention and monetization strategy for D+H.
Key Responsibilities-
- Setting up new subscriber programs, experiment aggressively, and prioritizing initiatives to increase the subscriber engagement, retention and monetization on platform (upgrades etc)
- Partnering with Product, content and ops teams to drive adoption of different innovations on the platform, helping create a highly personalized experience around discovering and enjoying the wide array of entertainment available on the platform
- Build a strong culture of user-first thinking, deeply understanding user behavior and driving insights to various teams to influence roadmaps and key focus areas
- Define On platform and Off platform strategies across different channels and surfaces that help retain users across different segments and age on the platform
- Create monetization opportunities, designing journeys to drive user behavior towards higher plans to drive ARPU
- Rapid experimentation and optimization of different customer journeys across the renewal funnels
- Establishing best practices and improving overall comms across different consumer touch points
Skills & Attributes for success-
- Proficiency with data and attribution tools, deep analytics, and performance monitoring and gathering insights to devise and optimize programs
- Strong understanding of user behavior and user journeys
- Having a growth mindset and someone who is comfortable in a cross-functional environment and has to work on challenging problems and deal with ambiguity
- A willingness to work outside of the scope in order to bring alignment and better overall outcomes to the business at large
Preferred Education & Experience-
- MBA from a Tier 1 College
- 5+ years of experience, preferably within consumer internet firms, managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders with high attention to detail
